What We Found

Only one firm has any schema markup at all

Fidelis Law has minimal structured data. The other 5 firms have zero schema markup -- no LegalService, no Attorney, no LocalBusiness. When Google or AI systems try to understand what these firms do and where they practice, they are parsing raw HTML and guessing. In legal services, where trust signals matter more than almost any other industry, this is a critical gap.

Every firm is invisible to AI assistants

No firm has an llms.txt file. At least one (Wix-based) likely blocks AI crawlers by default. When someone asks ChatGPT "who is the best personal injury lawyer in Fredericton," none of these firms are controlling their answer. The AI is relying entirely on whatever third-party content it can find.

Not a single firm has a complete meta description

All 6 law firms are missing meta descriptions. For high-intent searches like "divorce lawyer Fredericton" or "personal injury attorney NB," these firms are letting Google write their first impression. In legal services, where the stakes are high and clients are comparing options carefully, this is leaving conversions on the table.

One firm had website downtime during our audit

Peters Rouse's website returned connection refused errors when we tried to audit it. A law firm website that is unreliable is worse than having no website at all. People searching for a lawyer at night or on weekends -- when they need one most -- will move on immediately if the site does not load.

One firm has broken links on lawyer profile pages

Leading Law has team member links pointing to "http://v" instead of proper profile URLs. A potential client clicking on a lawyer's name and getting a dead page creates immediate distrust. In legal services, trust is everything.

Content depth correlates directly with scores

The two highest-scoring firms (Fidelis and Melanson) are also the ones with the most content -- 15-20+ pages with dedicated service pages, resources, and location pages. The lowest-scoring firms have 3-8 pages. In legal SEO, content depth signals expertise. More pages covering more practice areas means more chances to rank.
